The Digital Movement Innovation Foundation (DMIF) is a non-profit organization that uses technology to inspire people to move.
We believe digital innovation can contribute to a healthier, more active, and socially connected society.
Through projects like Push Up Legends, we aim to make movement accessible, fun, and community-driven. DMIF was founded in 2025 and is based in The Hague, the Netherlands.
The foundation has applied to the Dutch Tax Authority (Belastingdienst) to be recognized as a Public Benefit Organization (Algemeen Nut Beogende Instelling – ANBI).
1. Statutory Name and Objective

Objective:
DMIF promotes health, physical activity, and social connection through digital innovation.
We develop and support projects that use technology to make movement more engaging and sustainable for all ages and backgrounds.
A flagship initiative of DMIF is Push Up Legends — a real-world fitness game that transforms public spaces into Control Points, where players perform push-ups to conquer areas for their team.
2. Board Composition
The board of the foundation consists of:
Remco Witkamp – Chairman and Treasurer
David Jupijn – Secretary
Both share responsibility for the foundation’s strategic direction, finances, and operations. They are each authorized to represent the foundation individually.
3. Policy Plan
Our policy plan outlines how DMIF aims to achieve its social goals through innovation and collaboration.
Key principles include:
Innovation: developing and supporting digital tools that improve health and physical activity;
Accessibility: lowering barriers to movement through technology and gamification;
Collaboration: partnering with sports foundations, local governments, and community organizations;
Sustainability: promoting lasting behavioral change through play, motivation, and technology;
Flagship projects: supporting Push Up Legends and other digital health initiatives.

The policy plan meets the Dutch Tax Authority’s (ANBI) requirements and describes our objectives, activities, spending policy, and governance principles.
4. Remuneration Policy
DMIF’s board members receive no financial compensation for their work.
Only documented, reasonable expenses directly related to their duties may be reimbursed.
The foundation operates primarily on a voluntary and partnership-based model, focusing on social value rather than financial profit.
5. Annual Report and Financial Accountability
As a newly established foundation, DMIF is currently in its start-up phase.
After the first fiscal year (2025), we will publish an annual report that includes:
– an overview of our activities and results;
– a financial statement with balance sheet and income/expenditure overview;
– an explanation of how funds were used to achieve our mission.
From 2026 onward, the latest annual report and financial statement will be published on this page before July 1 each year.
Transparency Commitment
The Digital Movement Innovation Foundation complies fully with the Dutch ANBI transparency requirements and will publish its policy plan, annual reports, financial statements, and board information on this website.
